Sasha Wynn Davies Appointed WNF President

Wales Nuclear Forum is delighted to announce that Sasha Wynn Davies, our former Chair for the last 3 years and Board Member of 5 years, has become the WNF’s President. Sasha resigned her Directorship at the end of April when her 3-year Chair term was complete.

The WNF President role has been revised to reflect the recent changes to the WNF constitution and objectives as part of its recent Board Effectiveness and Organisational review.

The Board felt that Sasha’s high profile across the nuclear sector in Wales made her an ideal fit to be the WNF President, playing an ambassadorial role in raising the profile of WNF, and representing WNF at events.

Sasha Wynn Davies, President of WNF said: “I am over the moon to have been asked to take on the WNF President role. My continued passion for the nuclear sector’s growth in Wales, the economic boost and jobs that it brings can, and will, come from the sector here in Wales and the wider UK.

With the Great British Energy – Nuclear Gwyndod project with Rolls-Royce SMR gaining momentum, it is an incredibly exciting time to pick up the WNF President baton. Working closely with Julian as Chair, we will make a great team to fly the WNF flag even higher!”
