Over the last year the WNF has undertaken a Board Effectiveness Review and organisational review. As a result the Board has been reset, the constitution and WNF objectives revised and a series of changes have been agreed to reinforce WNF’s core role.
Having spent the last 4 years as a WNF director, Gareth Davies has resigned his post and instead taken up the Company Secretary role to progress the next stage of change. This will include governance, legals and implementing over the next 12 months the new WNF corporate structure.
‘WNF has embarked on a programme of significant change which will unfold over the coming months. We are aware of the huge opportunities facing Wales and its supply chain and are gearing up to capitalise on those important opportunities for our members. We want to refocus activities on doing the basics well and evolve from there – offering our members unquestionable value. I’m delighted that Gareth will continue to play a key role in planning and delivering this transition.’ Julian Vance-Daniel – WNF Chair.
