The Wales Nuclear Forum is delighted to be holding our next North Wales ‘in person’ interactive conference and networking event on Friday 23rd June 09.15-15.30, at M-SParc, Gaerwen, Anglesey:
‘What next for new nuclear in North Wales?’
The session will be opened by Virginia Crosbie MP for Anglesey and keen advocate for new nuclear build at Wylfa, North West Wales and wider UK. Dr Tim Stone CBE, Chair at the Nuclear Industry Association and leading expert on energy and civil nuclear, will give the opening address. In addition there will key representatives speaking from GBN Nuclear, Cwmni Egino, National Nuclear Laboratory, Isle of Anglesey County Council/Ynys Ynni, leading Nuclear developers, Grwp Llandrillo Menai, Bangor University, NSAN and the Welsh Government.
It will be an excellent informative and networking day, including tea/coffee and a light lunch. The event is free to members and a charge to non-members of £30pp.
We are also organising an informal ‘PYO networking dinner’ at The Sage Kitchen Menai Bridge, the evening before, Thursday 22nd June 19.00. If you would like to attend please pay in advance by adding on the meal option through registration. Price is £35 for 3 courses, with drinks settled separately individually on the evening. Please select your pre-order from the options on the registration form.
We encourage you to book your accommodation, if needed, as soon as possible in the Menai Bridge or Beaumaris area. Bangor University Management Centre also has accommodation.
