Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its virtual Civil Nuclear export market visit to Germany
Welsh government has just launched our next virtual trade mission. Following on from the promising mission with Canada, we are aiming next for Germany and the opportunities for decommissioning.
The format for the German mission will be compressed into two afternoon sessions. Each session will be broadly 4 hours each day, with hour-long sessions incorporating a presentation, Q&A, Wales showcase and importantly, a short break between each.
Why?
Germany has legislated to decommissioning its entire fleet of 23 nuclear reactors. It is also preparing a nuclear waste storage programme. The value of works is estimated to be € 50billion. There are immediate, live procurements, as well as long term opportunities.
Entry to the German market affords further opportunities with Sweden for €39billion, plus Eastern Europe for further decommissioning
