The January cohort of the HPC Supplier Induction Programme is starting soon.

This programme is supported by EDF Energy and takes suppliers through EDF training modules on the high risk aspects customers are looking for suppliers to demonstrate.

The 5 day programme ends with a presentation day on the changes made within the business in front of EDF and another nuclear company. For this cohort, there will be the opportunity to present to Ansaldo NES who will provide a customer overview.

The programme provides companies with access to EDF training material in advance of any contract.

Benefits to companies:

  1. Establish a group of people within the company who are knowledgeable on Nuclear making you more likely to understand customer requirements, respond appropriately and deliver successfully.
  2. Training on the high risk priority areas that customers linked to the project.
  3. Exposure and connection to EDF and other organisations within the HPC Supply Chain.
  4. Recognition on completion of the programme.

The programme is delivered by subject matter experts in each of the area, including for this cohort EDF personnel on counterfeit fraud and suspect items.

This will take place at the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre, Bridgwater, TA6 4FJ.

The programme includes a tour of the HPC site, followed by a networking lunch and an afternoon meeting for delegates to share operational experience and best practice based on knowledge gained by completing the programme.
